Great Intentions with the blog but life down under has been busy and the blog has suffered. Many friends and family have received group e-mails, so sorry for any repeats!

Australia and the Aussie life have been great for J. The weather has been cooperative with plenty of sunshine, food has been a new experience between Kangaroo and Crocodile and the friend list is exploding between new American friends and my Aussie mates. Being on campus, classes, local bars, etc. have been great places to meet other students that have been good ol’ born and raised Aussie.

J's parents visited Down Under (although as Mum says…it’s a place she never wanted to go!). The adventures included Sydney and the Opera House, Melbourne and the Great Ocean Road, Brisbane with the Sun Coast and Gold Coast, and a final tour of Hunter Valley, the Wine Country. After 14 days of fun-filled activities, near death experiences, and one duck’s ass the time was up on the fabulous threesome’s escapades! J had a blast (they did too), and was completely ecstatic to give them the tour of ‘home’ for now!

Since break J's time has been filled with school work. First time those words have been said since being here and relaxation. The weather has started to cool off, but hasn’t hindered a journey to the beach at least once a week. So although it is warming up at home – you can still be jealous!

Here is what's been going on the last month in Oz via pictures!

First croc and roo tasting! Very delicious croc tastes like chicken and roo tastes like beef!

5k walk from Bondi Beach to Coogee Beach- great views and quite the work out.

Group on the train heading to the CBD (Central Business District) to celebrate ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corp) Day!

Parent's visit- all dressed up to see a show at the Opera House!

G has gotten a new job at a store called Witchery and has been spending most of her time in the city.

We've reached the half way mark, and can't believe time has gone by so fast! Hopefully, it won't take another month before the blog is updated again!

Stay tuned for the adventures in May...
